| Welcome to LA-WASP'2011! |
Aspect-Oriented Software Development (AOSD) is an
increasingly important paradigm in software development whereby novel notions of modularity
and composition mechanisms are discussed with the goal of taming concerns that cut
across traditional abstraction boundaries.
The Latin-American Workshop on Aspect-Oriented
Software Development (LA-WASP) (Advanced Modularization Techniques) aims at bringing together the Latin-American researchers
and practitioners interested in topics related to AOSD to share and discuss ideas, strengthen
research group collaborations, and identify new research
opportunities.
The LA-WASP 2011 follows the successful of
three editions (2004, 2005, and 2006) of the Brazilian Workshop on
AOSD (WASP) and four editions (2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010) of the
LA-WASP.

We look forward to seeing you all in São Paulo!
